Binance has just released an official announcement, revealing that the exchange will support Fetch.ai (FET), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), and SingularityNET (AGIX) token merge to Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
Deposits and withdrawals of Fetch.ai (FET), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), and SingularityNET (AGIX) will be suspended on July 1, 03:30 (UTC).
Binance will make a separate announcement following the completion of the event to notify users when deposits and withdrawals will be opened.
After the event completion, deposits, and withdrawals of the three tokens will no longer be supported.
The exchange will handle all technical requirements for users involved in the event, according to the same announcement.
Token merger details
FET, OCEAN, and AGIX tokens will assume the ticker ASI at Binance.
All FET, OCEAN, and AGIX tokens will be swapped to ASI at the following ratios:
- 1 FET = 1 ASI
- 1 OCEAN = 0.433226 ASI
- 1 AGIX = 0.433350 ASI
Spot trading
On July 1, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance will delist and cease trading on all spot trading pairs for FET, OCEAN, and AGIX.
The exact trading pairs being removed are the following:
- AGIX/BTC, AGIX/FDUSD, AGIX/TRY, AGIX/USDT
- FET/BNB, FET/BTC, FET/BRL, FET/FDUSD, FET/TRY, FET/USDC, FET/USDT
- OCEAN/BNB, OCEAN/BTC, OCEAN/TRY, OCEAN/USDT
All trade orders will be automatically removed following trading cessation in each trading pair.
Binance will terminate Trading Bots for the spot trading pairs mentioned above on July 1, 03:00 (UTC). Users are advised to update and/or cancel their Trading Bots before the cessation of Trading Bots services in order to avoid potential losses.
On July 7, at 08:00 (UTC), trading will open for the following spot trading pairs:
- ASI/BNB
- ASI/BTC
- ASI/BRL
- ASI/FDUSD
- ASI/TRY
- ASI/USDC
- ASI/USDT
Futures
Binance Futures will close all positions and conduct an automatic settlement on the FETUSDT, OCEANUSDT, and AGIXUSDT USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts on June 25, at 09:00 (UTC). Following the completion of the settlement, the contracts will be delisted.
Users are advised to close any open positions before the delisting time to avoid automatic settlement. The opening of new positions for the contract mentioned above is not allowed starting from June 25 at 08:30 (UTC).
On June 25, at 09:00 (UTC), Binance Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will close all arbitrage strategies and conduct an automatic settlement on the FETUSDT, OCEANUSDT, and AGIXUSDT symbols.
Margin
- On June 26, at 06:00 (UTC), Binance Margin will delist AGIX/BTC, AGIX/USDT, FET/BTC, FET/USDT, OCEAN/BTC, and OCEAN/USDT cross margin and isolated margin pair(s).
- On June 21, at 06:00 (UTC), Binance Margin will suspend isolated margin borrowing on the isolated trading pairs mentioned above.
- On June 26, at 06:00 (UTC)l, Binance Margin will close users’ positions, conduct an automatic settlement, and cancel all pending orders on the cross and isolated margin pairs mentioned above. The pairs will be removed from the Binance Margin.
Users will not be able to update their positions during the delisting process, and they are advised to close their positions and transfer their assets from Margin Wallet to Spot Wallet before the cessation of margin trading. Binance is not responsible for potential losses.
Portfolio Margin users are advised to transfer the tokens mentioned above out of their Margin Wallet to their Spot Wallet and to top up their margin balance before the cessation of margin trading.
In order to avoid potential liquidations, users should monitor the Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio (uniMMR) closely.
On June 26, at 06:00 (UTC), all FET, OCEAN, and AGIX balances in the Cross Margin Wallet under the Portfolio Margin account will be automatically converted to USDT from June 26, at 06:00 (UTC). The conversion will take at least 24 hours.
Loans
On June 25, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance Loans (Flexible and Stable rates) and VIP Loan will close all outstanding load positions for the three tokens. Users are advised to repay their FET, AGIX and OCEAN loans before June 25 at 03:00 (UTC) to avoid potential losses.
Earn
Starting on June 28, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance Simple Earn will cease support for FET, OCEAN, and AGIX Simple Earn Flexible and Locked Products and subscriptions will no longer be available.
Binance Pay
On July 1, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance will remove FET, OCEAN, and AGIX from the list of supported cryptos on Binance Pay.
Gift Card
On June 28, Binance will no longer support the creation of FET, OCEAN and AGIX Gift Cards.
Convert
On June 20, at 03:00 (UTC) Binance Convert will delist FET, OCEAN, and AGIX and all associated pairs.
Binance Auto-Invest
After June 18, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance Auto-Invest will delist the three tokens.
Buy crypto
On June 20, at 03:00 (UTC), Buy Crypto will delist FET, AGIX, and OCEAN and all associated pairs.
The ASI Alliance has recently announced a delay in the ASI token merger of FET, AGIX, and OCEAN.
According to the announcement, SingularityNET, FetchAI, and Ocean Protocol have announced a revised date for the ASI token merger, moving the date from June 13 to July 15, 2024.
