On October 21, SpaceX transferred over $268 million in Bitcoin to new wallets, in a move that seems to be a wallet reorganization, according to onchain data. This is the first time that the company transfers Bitcoin since July.
SpaceX is Elon Musk’s space technology company headquartered at the Starbase development site in Starbase, Texas.
SpaceX’s Bitcoin Transfers on October 21st
Onchain data shows that on October 21, SpaceX made two Bitcoin transfers. The first transfer was of 1,298 BTC worth $139.67 million to the wallet starting with bc1qj7.
The second transfer was of 1,197 BTC worth $128,8 million to the wallet starting with bc1qq7.
Ahead of the transfers, two small amounts of BTC worth over $150 and almost $177 were moved from Coinbase Prime to the two wallets, probably as test transfers, according to the same data from Arkham.
Arkham shows that, currently, the wallet bc1qj7 holds 1,208 BTC worth over $139 million, and wallet bc1qq7 holds 1,187 BTC worth over $128 million.
Previous SpaceX Bitcoin Transfers
This is the first time SpaceX transfers Bitcoin since July. On July 22, following a small BTC transfer worth over $29 from Coinbase Prime to the wallet 15oKQ (belonging to SpaceX), the wallet had transferred 1,308 BTC worth over $152,9 million to the wallet bc1q8.
Before the July transfer, SpaceX had moved over 3,000 BTC to Coinbase, according to Arkham data.

Bitcoin Price Trajectory on October 21
