Google Enhances Search Function: Now Find Bitcoin, Fantom, Arbitrum Wallet Addresses Easily

Key Points

Google has recently expanded its search capabilities to include the ability to search for the balances of wallets on various blockchains, including Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Polygon, and Fantom. The search results display the remaining token balance in the wallet for each network, along with the time the balance was last updated.

Google has clarified that the balances shown are only for the native token of each network. The last updated timestamp shows the balance as of the last external transaction, and updates are not instantaneous.

Expansion to Ethereum Name Service Domains

Earlier this month, Google expanded its search capabilities to include wallet balances for users searching Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains. ENS provides readable domain names for Ethereum wallet addresses, such as the domain name for Ethereum’s creator, vitalik.eth.

This expansion builds on Google’s initial support for Ethereum wallet balance searches, which began in May. This feature allowed users to search for a specific public address and view the wallet balance directly in the search results.

Google has not yet provided further information regarding these new features.
