The Notcoin team has just confirmed via their account on X that the mining phase ends on April 1st:

The announcement comes following a glitch-like teaser that managed to trigger questions regarding the timing of the airdrop that the Notcoin players have been expecting.

Considering the fact that the team chose the date as April Fools’ Day, players are wondering whether the airdrop will take place then as well or if this is all a buildup for a joke on the player base, which consists of about 30 million.

Notcoin set new records for daily players

A few days ago, the Telegram-based game hit a huge user milestone and set a new record for daily players.

Notcoin is a clicker game that became viral, with millions of Telegram users tapping a coin’s graphic on their phones to gain in-game currency.

Even if it was not clear from the beginning whether players would be able to exchange their in-gaim coins for real crypto, the team eventually confirmed that the airdrop is on its way via The Open Network.

The project’s currency is called “Gram,” and it’s been designed to pay transaction fees and settle payments while at the same time validating network transactions.

Back in 2018, the project managed to raise $1.7 billion in a token sale, and the achievement marked the second-largest ICO in history, the winner being EOS, which raised $4 billion.

Players who logged into the Notcoin game the other day saw a glitchy graphic that was saying “7 days” before it disappeared.

On the Notcoin community channel, the team posted a clip from the Avengers Endgame along with a note that said, “The mining phase ends on April 1.”

The post was also thanking the Notcoin community members.
