One of the most important stablecoins issuers, Tether, has generated the most fees in the past 30 days, over $636 million. In the last seven days, Tether has generated almost $150 million in fees, according to data from DeFi Llama.

August was the month with the highest fees in 2025, and Tether generated over $655 million in fees paid by users last month, based on the data from the same provider.

2. Circle

Circle, another stablecoin issuer, sits in the second position in terms of fees paid by users in the past 30 days. Tether has generated over $212 million in fees in the last 30 days, and over $52.4 million in fees in the past 7 days.

Also, August was the top month in generated fees by Circle this year, with almost $261 million.

Uniswap users paid over $161 million in fees in the last 30 days, and over $31 million in the past 7 days, according to the same data from DeFi Llama.

August was the most fruitful month in 2025 regarding generated fees by Uniswap, with over $163 million. May 2021 was the month with the most generated fees ever for the DEX, with over $251 million.
