DOGE's upward price trajectory comes amidst a surge in the entire dog-themed digital assets sector. The crypto sector is up by more than 7% in the past 24 hours, with its market cap surpassing $50.5 billion.
The 24-hour trading volume of the sector is over $5.3 billion, according to data from CoinGecko.
DOGE, SHIB, BONK, FLOKI, WIF, NEIRO, and other dog-themed coins are rallying on September 9, with NEIRO, DOGE, and BONK as the top trending coins.
This market rally led by DOGE comes following the latest Dogecoin ETF-related announcement.
DOGE ETF Expected to Launch on September 11
Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas shared a post via his X account on September 9, highlighting that a Dogecoin (DOGE) ETF with the ticker $DOJE from REX-Osprey is expected to launch on September 11.
Balchunas said that memecoin ETFs are about to kick off, and there are more ETFs already waiting for the US SEC approval.
In March 2025, the SEC delayed multiple crypto ETFs.
NEIRO Price Expecting a Pump
A DOGE ETF going live this week would boost the price of his sister, NEIRO, and probably other dog-themed coins that usually follow DOGE's price trajectory.
