On February 12, Deribit released the Bitcoin and Ethereum options expiry data amidst a seemingly stabilized market. The crypto market is up by 0.45% today, with a market cap of overe $2.29 trillion.
Deribit's crypto options expiry details
The platform announced that over $2.9 billion in crypto options will expire on February 13 at 08:00 (UTC).
Over $2.53 billion in BTC options will expire tomorrow morning with a Put/Call Ratio of 0.76 and a Max Pain Point of $75,000.
Also, over $406 million in ETH options will expire with a Put/Call Ratio of 0.89 and a Max Pain Point of $2,150.
Both digital assets are currently trading below their Max Pain Points on February 12.
Deribit highlighted that following last week's crypto liquidations, which triggered a drop in BTC's price below $70,000, positioning has now shifted back towards calls.
BTC stabilized above $67,000 today, and volume cooled from panic levels; now it remains to be seen whether tomorrow's event can pull BTC's price towards its Max Pain Point.

Both digital assets are currently on an upward trajectory, signalling potential recovery towards the end of the week.

At the moment of writing this article, BTC is trading above $68,000, up by approximately 1.6% in the past 24 hours.

BTC debuted an upward trajectory from $65,000 levels on February 11.
Yesterday, the BTC ETFs in the US recorded a day of outflows following three consecutive inflow days. SoSoValue data shows that BTC ETFs saw outflows of over $276 million.

Tomorrow is an important macroeconomic day as the US CPI report is expected to be released, along with housing data. The reports, together with Coinbase earnings details and options expiry, could affect the markets.
It's also worth noting that Binance completed its BTC conversion of the $1 billion SAFU fund, showing strong support for the digital asset.
ETH price trajectory
At the moment of writing this article, ETH is trading above $1,996, up by more than 2.3% in the past 24 hours, slightly a better performer compared to BTC.

ETH debuted an upward price movement from near $1,900 levels on February 11. Yesterday marked a day of outflows for ETH ETFs as well, and the crypto products recorded over $129 million in negative flows.

Before February 11, ETH ETFs saw two consecutive days of inflows.
Optimism is back in the markets
It looks like optimism is slowly returning to the markets ahead of tomorrow's options expiry, pushed by continued global adoption and Binance's strong support for BTC.
It remains to be seen how the crypto market will react tomorrow and whether institutional interest in crypto resumes.
However, predictions for BTC and crypto for 2026 are bullish, despite the recent volatilty and FUD.
