Highlights From Trump’s Speech at the Crypto Summit
The most important issues addressed by Trump during yesterday’s roundtable which gathered important names from the crypto industry are the following:
- The US creates its Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, following the “Never sell your Bitcoin rule.
- The US currently holds 200,000 BTC from legal actions
- The Treasury/Commerce will add BTC to its reserves at no taxpayer costs.
- Agencies will inventory crypto and transfer them to the Treasury.
- Non-BTC assets will go to a separate stockpile.
- Stablecoin legislation is expected.
During the meeting, Trump also said that he expects stablecoin legislation on his desk by August, highlighting that the war on crypto is now over.
He stated that the Treasury and Commerce Departments will explore new pathways to accumulate additional BTC holdings for the reserve.

Digital Assets Strategy to Dominate the 21st Century Global Economy
In his notes, Saylor stated that the right digital assets framework, policies, and leadership can:
- Enrich citizens

- Dominate global economy
- Pay off the national debt
According to him, the economic benefit to the US will be between $60-$100 trillion over the next decade.

4 New Digital Asset Classes
The structure introduces four new digital asset classes:
- Digital Token – An asset with an issuer, backed by Digital Untility, for Capital Creation and Innovation
- Digital Security – An asset with an issuer, backed by a Security or Commodity, for Capital Efficiency and Globalization
- Digital Currency – An asset with an issuer, backed by Currency, for Digital Commerce and Dollar Supremacy
- Digital Commodity – An asset without an issuer, backed by Digital Power, for Capital Preservation and Appreciation
