This allows developers to access and manage heterogeneous assets using global storage independent of accounts, streamlining development complexity and enabling new possibilities in composability, ownership management, multiple resources per account, event tracking, secure permissions, and persistent storage.
The release of Multisig Account v2 offers enhanced functionalities compared to the original multisig account design. By utilizing Multi-ed25519 auth keys, key custody and asset security have been significantly improved, resulting in better treasury management and smart contract administration.
Additionally, the Move library has been expanded with advanced math functions, allowing for increased accuracy in financial calculations and enabling DeFi apps to perform complex operations with greater efficiency.

Gas reductions
Gas reductions have also been a significant focus in this release, with Aptos witnessing remarkable improvements in gas efficiency.
With the implementation of AIP-17, 90% of transactions on Aptos are witnessing a 10x or more reduction in gas, while execution gas usage has been lowered by up to 100x.
