Avalanche Visa Card Makes Crypto Payments Simple

In its official announcement, Avalanche said that the card is powered by Rain Cards, and it makes crypto payments simple, eliminating the complexity of off-ramps or bank restrictions.

Rain Cards is a blockchain-based card issuing and stablecoin interoperability platform.

Avalanche’s latest launch supports the global crypto adoption in a world in which millions of people face barriers to financial access due to various factors:

The card allows the use of crypto as easily as fiat, but without complicated exchange conversions.

These digital assets are supported at launch with expansion plans in the future.

In its official press release, Avalanche addressed the millions of people who are unbanked in LATAM and other underbanked regions globally for whom accessing traditional financial services can be a challenge.

The Avalanche Card lowers barriers, offering users an easier way to directly convert and use crypto. John Wu, President of Ava Labs, said that this new card will allow crypto to become a tool for empowerment, amidst mainstream crypto adoption.
