Fidelity's FBTC Bitcoin ETF Soars with Record $473 Million Daily Inflow

As Grayscale's GBTC ETF Experiences Over $10 Billion in Total Outflows

Fidelity's FBTC spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) noted a record-breaking daily inflow of $473.4 million, almost doubling the $244.2 million inflow of BlackRock's usually dominant IBIT ETF.

The inflow into FBTC was 17% higher than its previous record of $404.6 million. This surpassed the total net inflows of $472.6 million for all U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs combined, as per BitMEX Research data.

Other ETFs and Their Performance

The third position was held by Arl Invest 21Shares’ ARKB, which registered inflows worth $42.1 million. This was followed by Valkyrie’s BRRR and Bitwise’s BITB with inflows of $41.8 million and $41.4 million, respectively.

Since the launch of the ETFs on January 11, total net inflows have nearly reached $9.4 billion. However, Grayscale’s GBTC fund saw outflows of $374.8 million, bringing its total outflows to over $10 billion since the start of U.S. spot bitcoin ETF trading.

FBTC's inflows have led to its assets under management (AUM) reaching approximately $8.3 billion. The combined AUM of U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs is over $54 billion.

Growth of New ETFs

The nine newborn ETFs, excluding Grayscale’s converted fund, now manage nearly $27 billion in assets. The leading ETF is IBIT with nearly $13 billion AUM. These new ETFs are expected to surpass GBTC’s holdings soon.

The trading volume for the U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs remained strong, reaching $4.53 billion. The trading was led by BlackRock’s IBIT, which generated $1.6 billion in volume. Grayscale’s GBTC and Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $1.3 billion and $1.1 billion, respectively.

The cumulative trading volume for all spot bitcoin ETFs is nearing $100 billion. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is currently trading for $67,252, up 1% over the past 24 hours. The largest cryptocurrency by market cap has gained 10% over the past week and more than 50% over the past month.
