Key Points
- HTX, Bitget, BingX, and Solana DEX Jupiter offer a helping hand to the Slerf community, donating trading fees as support.
- This comes just after the meme coin developer burned $10 million in presale funds.
During the past few days, Solana meme coin SLERF made headlines all over the crypto industry due to an “accidental” burning of tokens in presale. After the memecoin finished raising $10 million from investors, the project’s developer broke X with his announcement, desperately telling users:
“I burned the LP and the tokens that were set aside for the airdrop. Mint authority is already revoked so I can not mint them. There is nothing I can do to fix this. I am so f—ing sorry.”
Traders debated the issue on X, analyzing the strong price trajectory for the coin and the risks of buying during FOMO.
Coming to the rescue of the Slerf community
Now, crypto exchanges HTX (ex-Huobi), Bitget, and BingX have just reported that they’re lending a helping hand to the affected community. They pledged to donate trading fees involving SLERF to investors who have been affected.
There are plenty of investors who took part in private sales, but have suffered huge losses due to the burning of the token supply.
The crypto mogul, Justin Sun, posted on X an official announcement and said that HTX will be allocating trading feed to all the investors who took part in private sales on HTX.
As No.1 trading markets for @Slerfsol, HTX have decided to donate all Slerf trading revenue on @HTX_Global and allocate it to everyone who participated in private sale on HTX, as well as donate some #HTX for Slerf’s trading fee mining on https://t.co/y7nJ0Tgrcj! User first!

And, last but not least, the Singapore-headquartered BingX revealed their intention to donate their own trading fees that are generated from users’ SLERF-spot trades.
Also, the exchange is planning to airdrop future BingX World Debut tokens to all addresses that took place in the private sale, but did not receive SLERF tokens.
In support of the @Slerfsol community, #BingX has decided to:
1. Donate the trading fees generated from users' $SLERF Spot trades on BingX.
2. Airdrop future BingX World Debut tokens to addresses that participated in the Slerf private sale but didn't receive $SLERF tokens… https://t.co/PL0mfOt37O

Solana DEX Jupiter announces support for Slerf community
According to the latest reports, it looks like Solana decentralized exchange Jupiter is among the entities that decided to help the Slerf community following the burning.
Meow, the pseudonymous co-founder of Jupiter, said on X that the exchange “will be donating current and ongoing SLERF limit order & DCA fees to the SLERF presale participants.”
Hopped onto a space w the @Slerfsol community & got a clearer picture of what is going on.@JupiterExchange will be donating current and ongoing SLERF limit order & DCA fees to the @slerfsol presale participants.
