Key Points
- Logos, a decentralized technology stack, has inscribed its manifesto on the largest-ever Bitcoin block.
- The inscription precedes the launch of an Ordinals collection and is part of a project to rebuild the internet to protect civil liberties.
Logos, a project focused on decentralization and privacy, has made a significant move by inscribing its manifesto document on the largest-ever Bitcoin block on record.
The size of the inscription was 3.99 MB, and it comes before the launch of an Ordinals collection.
Logos’ Unique Approach
Interestingly, the project, which maintains political neutrality, chose to inscribe its manifesto on a satoshi (the smallest unit of a bitcoin) created in 2009 in block 3,479, rather than a standard satoshi.
According to Logos, these inscriptions, known as Logos Operators, will serve as the pseudonymous identities of the first users of the Logos technology stack.
Rebuilding the Internet
The aim is to enable people to exit the current internet system. The foundational elements of Logos’ stack and the basic functionalities of the Nomos Layer 1 are expected to be operational by the year’s end.
The project’s goal is to rebuild the internet with a focus on protecting civil liberties. They are looking for high-level Operators to join the new ecosystem and become pioneers of a sovereign enclave in cyberspace.
