Today, the Notcoin team shared a post on their X account, revealing a donation of 1,030,383,291.36 NOT tokens worth about $6.8 million to Telegram and its founder Pavel Durov.
They also shared a photo confirming the transaction.
The Notcoin team revealed a post that they had shared on February 5, 2024, which began by saying that there is no shame in standing on the shoulders of giants.
The team also said that Pavel Durov and the Telegram team made the Telegram app, set the bar for builders and created a lot of opportunities for everyone, including Notcoin.
The same message notes that 552,586 Notcoiners were grateful and sent their 1,030,383,291,362 Notcoin to Pavel’s account.
They also said that they were surprised by the number, especially since 2023,303 people donated all their hard-earned NOT tokens. The team concluded by saying that everyone who donated NOT will receive twice as much at the end of that phase.

The project’s launch was initially scheduled for April 20, the same day when the Bitcoin halving event took place. The original launch was postponed and $NOT started trading the other day.
The total and circulating supply of NOT at launch was set at 102,719,221,714 tokens. 100% of these tokens were made available at listing.
Telegram and its founder Pavel Durov made headlines not too long ago, when in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Durov, addressed the decreasing tolerance of governmental agencies for people’s privacy via Internet monitoring.
