A few hours ago, on his X account, Leonidas also shared his optimistic predicitons about Runes.
He said that the Runes protocol would be used by “the hardcore tech savvy degens” while “the masses fade complaining that the US sucks.” He says that midfluencers will pass on Runes as well.
Next, he predicts that the UX will start to get better, and there will also be some impressive CEX listings while foreseeing Runes achieving billion-dollar MCAPs.
He predicts that the Runes market will get ahead of itself at some point, and that’s when we’ll see a correction that will only cause market consolidation.
He concludes by stating that the builders will continue building until the infrastructure and the UX get good enough that the projects can onboard a new wave of less tech-savvy more mainstream degens who will make the early Runes adopters millionaires.
He says that he already knows how all this will play out because we can simply replace the word Runes with Ordinals, and it all becomes a history lesson.

Magic Eden announced the launch of a new platform for Bitcoin Runes
Recently, Magic Eden, the NFT marketplace, has announced the launch of a new platform for Bitcoin Runes.
The platform, currently in beta, facilitates users to trade for Bitcoin (BTC) and purchase Runes and Ordinals using their Magic Eden wallet.
The platform will feature a Swaps View that enables users to specify a particular BTC amount they wish to spend when purchasing Runes. The release of this product was initially planned for April 23, but it was finished ahead of schedule.
