The biggest crypto exchange in South Korea, Upbit, announced the launch of trading pairs for two digital assets on June 10, Balance (EPT) and Axelar (AXL).

Balance is a next-generation AI and Web3 protocol and framework for social and gaming that integrates AI technology, blockchain, and dApps, while combining AI agents with Key Nodes, which govern and secure the network.

Axelar promises to deliver secure cross-chain communication for Web3, and the project offers a decentralized network and tools to help builders of dApps via its protocol suite, tools, and APIs.

Upbit’s Listing Announcements for EPT and AXL

Upbit announced that it would launch the AXL/KRW and AXL/USDT trading pairs on June 10 at 16:00 KST.

In a separate announcement, the crypto exchange revealed that it would also launch the EPT/USDT trading pair, later at 18:00 KST.

Both digital assets experienced price growth following the crypto exchange’s announcement.

Ahead of Upbit’s announcement, EPT had a market cap of over $16 million, and it surged to over $19 million after the crypto exchange revealed its listing plans, spiking by over 17%.

At the moment of writing this article, EPT is trading above $0.007 with a market cap of over $18 million, and the digital asset is up by over 18% in the past 24 hours.

AXL Price Action

Ahead of Upbit‘s listing announcement, AXL was trading at approximately $0.33 with a market cap of over $327 million. Following the exchange’s listing notes, AXL price spiked by over 51%, hitting $0.51 and a market cap of over $503 million.

The digital asset’s price continued to surge, reaching current levels of over $505 million in market cap.
