In an official press release dated today, February 11, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) and Ondo Finance revealed a partnership to advance the adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and bring traditional finance on-chain.
WLFI is the Trump family’s crypto project and Ondo Finance is a Web3 native technology company building an open and more accessible financial system via the launch of institutional-grade assets, services, and infrastructure on public blockchains.
WLFI Explores Integrating Ondo’s Tokenized Assets
According to the official notes, WLFI explores integrating Ondo’s tokenized assets into its network as treasury reserves, including the following:
- US Dollar Yield Token (USDY) – Only available to non-US persons outside the US
- Short-Term US Government Treasuries (OUSG)
Integration User Benefits
WLFI plans to integrate USDY, OUSG, and tokenized securities from Ondo’s upcoming Global Markets into its platform to enable the following benefits for users:
- Seamless borrowing
- Lending
- Margin trading
This new partnership makes WLFI a strategic collaborator in Ondo’s efforts to scale the Ondo Global Markets – a platform enabling the tokenization of traditional financial assets such as stocks and bonds.

The project will offer the necessary infrastructure to enable tokenized RWAs to be used at a high scale.
The Ondo ecosystem already includes important names such as BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, and PayPal and now, the Trump family’s project has become involved as well.
