Scoring System – Binance Alpha Points Explained
Binance’s Alpha Points represent a new scoring system aimed at users active on Binance Alpha and the Binance Wallet.
What are Binance Alpha Points?
Binance Alpha Points represent a daily scoring system developed by the crypto exchange with the following purposes:
- Evaluating the level of user activity on Binance Alpha and the Binance Wallet
- Representing the basis for selecting eligible users for airdrops, IDO participants, or upcoming TGE participants
The Binance Alpha Points are continuously updated and accumulated over the past 15 days – the more points you have, the more opportunities to participate in token distributions from the crypto exchange you can enjoy.
How Binance Alpha Points Are Calculated?
Binance Alpha Points are calculated on a daily basis based on the sum of the following factors:
- Balance Points – Your total asset holdings on Binance (the tokens listed on Spot across all your accounts and Binance Alpha account) and Binance Wallet (Binance Alpha Tokens and tokens on the Spot market only)
- Volume Points – Your Alpha token purchase volume via Binance and Binance Jeyless Wallet combined
Selling Alpha tokens doesn’t affect your Alpha Points.
Your total Binance Alpha Points represent the sum of your daily points, combining the Balance Points and Volume Points over the past 15 days.
Calculating Your Balance Points
Your Balance Points are calculated by tiers (based on the combined asset balance on Binance – Spot tokens across all your accounts and Alpha account) and Binance Wallet (Binance Alpha tokens and tokens on Binance spot only).
Your points are awarded according to the following tiers:
Combined Asset Balance (USD) | Points per Day |
---|---|
From $100 to below $1,000 | 1 point |
From above $1,000 to below $10,000 | 2 points |
From above $10,000 to below $100,000 | 3 points |
Above $100,000 | 4 points |
The snapshot is taken according to the UTC timezone.
Calculating Your Volume Points
Your Volume Points are based on the combined asset purchasing volume of Alpha tokens in Binance and Binance Keyless Wallet as follows:
Alpha Token Purchase Volume (USD) | Volume Points |
---|---|
$2 | 1 point |
$4 | 2 points |
$8 | 3 points |
$16 | 4 points |
$32 | 5 points |
You can get an additional 1 point for each doubling of your purchase volume. For example, $64 translates into 6 points and $128 translates into 7 points.

Participation in an event is optional, and you can choose whether or not to spend the Binance Alpha Points.
