On June 16, Binance announced its 23rd project on the HODLer Airdrops portal – Spark (SPK), ahead of its listing on Binance Alpha and the main exchange.
Spark is a platform that powers DeFi with $4 billion in liquidity, and the team behind the project has recently announced the Spark Ignition Airdrop, calling it “the launch moment for a new era of decentralized finance.”
Binance’s SPK HODLer Airdrops Details
In its official announcement, Binance revealed that users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products starting on June 10 at 00:00 (UTC) until June 13 at 23:59 (UTC) will be eligible for the airdrop.
Binance created this HODLer Airdrops program to retroactively reward users based on historical snapshots of their BNB holdings.
The crypto exchange also revealed the following information in its official announcement:
- The Genesis total token supply will be 10 billion SPK tokens.
- The maximum token supply will be 10 billion SPK tokens.
- The HODler Airdrops token rewards will be 200 million SPK tokens, representing 2% of the total supply.
- An additional amount of 50 million SPK tokens will be allocated to other marketing campaigns after the spot listing on Binance.
- The circulating supply at the Binance listing will be 1,7 billion SPK tokens, or 17% of the total supply.
- The listing fee will be zero.
Binance also revealed the SPK addresses for BNB Chain and Ethereum.
The crypto exchange announced that it will list SPK on June 17.
Binance’s SPK Listing Announcement
In its official notes, Binance announced that it will list SPK on June 17 at 09:00 (UTC) and will open trading for the following pairs:
- SPK/USDT
- SPK/USDC
- SPK/BNB
- SPK/FDUSD
- SPK/TRY
SPK will be listed with the Seed Tag applied, meaning that the project is a newer one and it could exhibit higher volatility compared to other already listed tokens, and users should exercise caution before deciding to invest.
Also, SPK will be listed on Binance Alpha as well, the crypto exchange’s platform for showcasing early-stage Web3 projects that have growth potential.
