Saga is a crypto project that launched on Binance’s Launchpool on April 5, 2024, with trading starting on April 9. The project allows developers to build custom blockchains for their applications.
The gaming-focused layer-1 blockchain Saga Protocol managed to draw a lot of attention in the crypto industry, and the hype around the project intensified with the approaching of the Binance launch of the token.
The team behind Saga announced on their X account that there are more than 500,000 participants who are currently staking rewards on the $SAGA Binance Launchpool.

Saga’s CEO and co-founder Rebecca Liao explained that there is no such thing as launching directly on the Saga mainnet. Instead, devs will use Saga to launch their own chain called a chainlet or a set of chains.
This eliminates the need for developers to compete for blockspace with other projects on congested networks.
The main focus of Saga is to empower the developers.
