Today, in an official announcement, Binance revealed that it will support the Wise Monkey (MONKY) airdrop for Floki (FLOKI) and ApeCoin (APE) holders.
MONKY Airdrop Details
Binance also announced in the official notes the snapshot time for APE and FLOKI as follows:
- APE – November 29 at 00:00 (UTC)
- FLOKI – December 15 at 00:00 (UTC)
The exchange also revealed that the airdropped MONKY for each user holding FLOKI and APE will be calculated based on the following ratio:
- 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY, meaning that 0.35 MONKY will be airdropped for every FLOKI coin.
- 1 APE = 804,828 MONKY, meaning that each unique user account at Binance holding at least 1 APE will receive 804,828 MONKY.
Snapshot Wallets Details
FLOKI balances that hold under 1 FLOKI, and APE balances under 1 APE, including the ones in trade orders, will not be eligible for Binance’s airdrop.
FLOKI and APE tokens that are pending deposit or withdrawal at the time of the snapshot will not be considered for users’ balance.
Snapshots will include FLOKI and APE holdings and liabilities in:
- Spot Wallets
- Funding Wallets
- Margin Wallets
- Simple Earn Flexible and Locked Accounts
- Flexible Loan and VIP Loan Accounts
Also, Binance revealed that undistributed FLOKI and APE interest payments will not be included in the snapshots either.
FLOKI and/or APE coins borrowed from Margin or Crypto Loans and the ones transferred to Spot Wallets from these accounts will not be eligible for the Binance airdrop.
The exchange also announced that users with net FLOKI and/or APE liabilities on Margin, Loans, or VIP loans will have to return the equivalent amount of the MONKY airdropped coins.
Additional Details
- FLOKI and APE token deposits and withdrawals will not be impacted.
- Spot, Margin, Futures Trading, and Binance Earn services will not suffer any impacts during the airdrop.
- For trading and listing MONKY, the coin will go through Binance’s strict listing review.
- Supporting the airdrop doesn’t guarantee MONKY’s listing.
- Users must complete KYC verification on Binance and be located in an eligible jurisdiction to receive the airdrop.
