Binance has just announced KernelDAO (KERNEL) as its 4th project on the Megadrop platform, saying that it will also be the first crypto exchange to list the digital asset.
KernelDAO (KERNEL) is a restaking protocol that powers Kernel, Kelp, and Gain. The platform allows users to earn rewards via restaking ETH, BTC, and BNB on the largest shared security infrastructure, Kernel. The project is backed by YZi Labs and others.

How to Participate in Binance’s KERNEL Megadrop
Users can lock BNB and complete Web3 quests for the airdrop.
To get started with Binance Megadrop and earn tokens, users have to take the following steps on the platform:
- Log in to the Binance account or create one here.
- Subscribe to BNB Locked Products and/or complete Web3 Quests to gather scores.
- Go to Megadrop on the Binance app to complete Web3 Quests.
- To complete Web3 Quests, users must have at least one active Binance Wallet.
- Receive Megadrop rewards based on Total Score.
Here’s how the Score-Based Megadrop mechanism works.
Score-Based Megadrop Mechanism
The Megadrop reward per qualified user is based on the Total Score in proportion to the Total Scores of all qualified users.
The Scoring System works as follows:
- The Locked BNB Score: Users get a score based on the amount of BNB subscribed and the length of the subscription period, and this score can vary according to averages from daily snapshots.
- Web3 Quest Bonus and Web3 Quest Multiplier: Users will get bonuses and multipliers when they complete all the designated Web3 quests with the minimum requirements specified.
- Total Score: The Total Score is calculated by the system by applying the Web3 Quest Multiplier to the total Locked BNB Score and adding the bonus.
The Binance Megadrop platform integrates Simple Earn and the Binance Wallet to reinvent users’ airdrop experience.

KERNEL Megadrop Details
- The KERNEL maximum token supply is one billion tokens.
- The total supply is one billion tokens.
- The Megadrop token reward is 40 million tokens, or 4% of the total token supply.
- Another 40 million tokens will be allocated to other marketing campaigns in batches for six months after spot listing.
- The initial circulating supply after the Binance spot listing will be over 162 million tokens or over 16% of the total token supply.
Binance is expected to announce further details about the KERNEL listing on the exchange.
