Ellison’s future intentions are shrouded in secrecy

In the wake of controversy surrounding FTX and Alameda, reports speculated that Ellison was looking to hop over to Dubai via a stop in Hong Kong. Her plans remain shrouded in mystery though as her current whereabouts are unknown.

Autism Capital, a dedicated Twitter user and self-proclaimed “citizen journalist”, made history by being the first to reveal photos sent anonymously from an as-yet-unidentified source. They wrote that:

“A user claims that they spotted Caroline Ellison at Ground Support Coffee on West Broad in SoHo Manhattan at 8:15 AM [UTC]. This would mean she is not in Hong Kong and is in NY not in custody,”

A representative of the cafe, identified as Daniel Mentado, confirmed reports that popular singer Ellison visited and was taken care of by one of their employees.

Ellison’s mysterious return to the U.S., after years in exile, has sparked much debate and generated a multitude of questions. While some are perplexed at her potentially precarious legal situation, others wonder if she is seeking an agreement with authorities that could finally bring resolution to this contentious saga.

Some have noted that the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the New York FBI office are both within walking distance of the aforementioned coffee shop.

In any case, it’s important to emphasize that irrefutable evidence that the Ellison in the photo is indeed him has not yet been located. Some people in the cryptocurrency community have even traveled to meet with others in an effort to get their questions answered.

FTX founder tweets after ex-Alameda CEO was spotted

Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of FTX, has been on a media tour defending the company’s actions, in which he has denied any wrongdoing on purpose and instead placed responsibility on Alameda’s administration.

Notably, a few hours after the purported Ellison sighting, Bankman-Fried tweeted that he intends to appear at a hearing hosted by the House Committee on Financial Services at some time, but not until he has “finished learning and reviewing what happened.”
